Na poziv naših lokalnih zajednica iz Chicago, IL, Lawrenceville, GA, i Bowling Green, KY, predstavnici Kongresa Bošnjaka Sjeverne Amerike (KBSA), prof. dr. Amra Šabić-El-Rayess i Amir Ovčina, su obavili zvanične posjete ovim zajednicama i učestvovali u programima organizovanim povodom obilježavanja 30. godišnjice Dana nezavisnosti Bosne i Hercegovine.

Over the last two weeks, the Congress of Bosniaks of North America (CBNA) was invited by a number of our local communities to attend events commemorating 30 years of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s independence. Global Ambassador Amra Sabic-El-Rayess and Board President Amir Ovcina attended events in Chicago, IL, Lawrenceville, GA, and Bowling Green, KY. We express our sincere gratitude to everyone involved in organizing these events, including the coordinators, moderators, participants and all attendees, and for ensuring that these celebrations adequately commemorated this extremely important holiday for all Bosnians and Herzegovinians in a respectful and dignified manner. The attendees had an opportunity to learn about the work that CBNA has performed over the last two years, as well as future opportunities that CBNA plans to embark on. Our team is immensely grateful to everyone who placed their trust in our team, decided to cooperate and collaborate with CBNA in our future endeavors, and agreed to support CBNA financially and otherwise.
CBNA firmly believes that all significant activities which contribute to the well-being of our communities, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, start and end in our local communities across North America. Local communities are the source of our collective strength. When we work together, we can and will build an environment that will allow us to speak with a unified and amplified voice regarding all issues that matter to our communities. Therefore, it is crucial that our local communities participate in the work that CBNA does, and that CBNA continues to connect our communities, so that we can cooperate and collaborate on collective efforts that will permit us to achieve the aforementioned goal.
It is very important to note that these goals cannot be achieved without transparency and mutual trust. As such, CBNA believes that its presence and involvement in our local communities is critical to the long-term success of our communities, as well as our organization. Therefore, in order to remain present and involved, CBNA intends to make regular visits to our communities across North America. We hereby announce we will be visiting other communities across North America in the near future.
CBNA once again extends its deepest gratitude to our communities and organizers who generously hosted us over the past two weekends.
