The Congress of North American Bosniaks (CNAB) wishes to congratulate all of its members, and all of Bosnian citizens on the occasion of the 25. November, Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina Statehood. On this day in 1943, the Antifascist council restored Bosnia and Herzegovina statehood after centuries of occupation. It was declared to be a state of equal rights for all of its citizens.
Today, we honor the statehood and multi-ethnic, multi-religious history of BiH and celebrate the country’s vibrant culture and institutions. We would also like to take the opportunity to highlight the importance of working together to move Bosnia and Herzegovina forward, past the ethnic divisions, and towards true democratic reforms, based on rule of law, respect for civic institutions, and equal rights of all citizens. The prosperity and democratic development of BiH is significant for the overall stability in the Balkan region and Europe.
CNAB is working and partnering with many organizations to help accomplish these goals. You may help us by volunteering, becoming a CNAB member, and/or donating to CNAB to help support our efforts. Contact us for more information!
Happy B&H Statehood Day!
