Lawrenceville, GA – (April 25,2021) – Congress of Bosniaks of North America (CBNA) is proud to announce a three-year partnership with the Missouri Department of Transportation and Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal of America, Inc. As part of this partnership, CBNA will sponsor cleanliness upkeep of 1-mile of highway East I-64 that extends from the Saint Louis Business Center, Eastbound towards the Mississippi river, beyond Busch Stadium.
In early 1990s, majority of Bosniaks came to Saint Louis after being expelled from their homes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our new American neighbors embraced us with open doors and warm hearts. We are forever grateful for their love and support. Today, Saint Louis is the largest community of Bosniaks in North America.
CBNA’s sponsorship of highway I-64 is a way of expressing gratitude to the city of Saint Louis for welcoming tens of thousands of Bosniaks who now proudly call Saint Louis their home. This program not only saves the taxpayers’ dollars, but it also helps protects the environment and keeps America beautiful.
CBNA’s participation in the program reinforces our mission to engage Bosniaks in North America through community leadership and social responsibility, helping create a clean and safe environment and prosperity for all.
