Nejra Sumic received her Master’s in Public Administration at Western International University and is fluent in three languages.
Nejra brings in a decade of experience in the human rights sector, including in the field of advocacy and policy. In her most recent role, she is the State Advocacy Director for the International Rescue Committee. She currently serves as an advisor on the United States Refugee Advisory Board and is also the Arizona Delegate for Refugee Congress. Through her work, she co-authored the book “Divine Love”, where she writes about her journey as a refugee child. She is most passionate about human rights issues and working with the refugee community.
