6.4 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Croatia and Surrounding Countries

Congress of Bosniaks of North America (CBNA) stands in solidarity with the people of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and surrounding countries as they recover from the 6.4 magnitude earthquake which struck the region on Tuesday, December 28th, 2020.

The earthquake occurred around noon local time approximately 30 miles southeast of Croatia’s capital Zagreb and could be felt across the Balkans. To date, it is the largest earthquake to impact Croatia this year per the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
