Washington, D.C. — Members of the U.S. House of Representatives have re-registered the bipartisan Congressional Bosnia Caucus for the 119th Congress. The Caucus will be co-chaired by Representatives Mike Turner (R-OH) and Jake Auchincloss (D-MA), with Representatives Ann Wagner (R-MO) and Wesley Bell (D-MO) joining as additional co-chairs.

The re-registration and expanded co-chairmanship of the Caucus underscore continued bipartisan recognition of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s importance to U.S. national interests, European stability, and the preservation of peace secured through American-led diplomacy. The Caucus also serves as a forum for commemorating the victims of the Srebrenica genocide and reaffirming the United States’ commitment to accountability and lasting peace.
The Congress of Bosniaks of North America (CBNA) has, over recent years, engaged Members of Congress and congressional staff through education, briefings, and commemorative initiatives focused on Bosnia and Herzegovina and the legacy of the Dayton Peace Agreement. CBNA welcomes the continued strengthening of the Congressional Bosnia Caucus as a reflection of growing bipartisan engagement and sustained congressional interest in safeguarding peace, stability, and constitutional order in the region.
The Congressional Bosnia Caucus brings together Members of both parties committed to upholding U.S. leadership, supporting democratic institutions, respecting sovereignty, and reinforcing the framework established by the Dayton Peace Agreement – one of the most significant American diplomatic achievements of the post-Cold War era.
